PRINCETON – The No. 8 men’s water polo team continues its season with the last two home games of the regular season against No. 20 St. Francis-Brooklyn Terriers (12pm) and the Iona Gaels (5pm). Prior to the competition for Iona, the team will honor the Class of 2023. That group has won 61 games coming into today’s games, posting a win rate of 0.685 during his time at Princeton. The signature moment of this group’s time with the Tigers 2021 NWPC Championship. 1: Princeton has only lost once this month. The Tigers’ 9-7 loss to No. 10 Pepperdine on October 18 is wedged around a six-game streak (October 1-16) and a current five-game streak (October 20-23). 2: Keller Maloney is second all-time in the program’s history in assists with 153. He leads the team with 39 helpers, three less than his 2018 personal best. He also has 186 career goals, putting him in ninth all-time -time state . 3: Princeton dropped number 3 Stanford, 11-10, last Sunday. It was the first time in program history that Princeton defeated Stanford (11 games). Roko Pozaric scored the game winner with 13 seconds left. It was also his third straight with a hat trick. 8: Antonio Knez earned his eighth NWPC Defensive Player of the Week award this week and third this season. The senior won at least 10 games in each of his three seasons and amassed 549 saves.
