Dual-sport athlete Makenna Webster scores her first goal as a Buckeye.
Vetter thought she covered the puck after Paetyn Levis’ shot, but the puck was still loose under her pad, waiting for Webster to take it home.
Webster is also on the Ohio State hockey team, which is currently in season. This afternoon’s game is her second hockey game for the Buckeyes this season. The junior striker came over from Wisconsin for the off-season, where she won a national championship in the 2021 Frozen Four, earning her most notable player honors.
She has six goals and 15 points in 15 hockey games this season, helping the Buckeyes to a 10-6 record.
