Men’s tennis undefeated on First Day of Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge

Story Links DALLAS, TX – The Crimson started playing today at the Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge, beating every opponent they faced in both singles and doubles. In singles, Alan Yim took on Louis Cloud (SMU). After dropping the first set 6-7 (7), Yim easily took the second two (6-2, 6-2) to win the match. Ronan Jachuck dominated Ethan Muza (Baylor) beating him in straight sets (6-2, 6-1). Last for singles, Steven Sun also defeated Simon Arca Costas (Boise State) in straight sets. Despite a good first set (7-6 (5)), Sun took care of things in the second set (6-3) to secure the third win for the Crimson. In doubles, Jachuck and Sun teamed up twice on the day. First, the duo defeated Steinhausen/Winkler (SMU), 6-3, and then defeated Miladinovic/Frantzen (Baylor), 6-4. The Crimson will continue playing tomorrow from 10am (CST)/11am (EST).
