Speaking about the usefulness of the sports complex, the mayor said: “In Banjara Hills, about 18,000 people live in slums. There is a government school and about nine private schools and this facility will serve them well.”

Earlier, some people tried to invade the country to ban the construction of the sports complex. However, the GHMC was able to protect the country through a legal battle.
