What the program offers
The EMEA Early Careers Program is a professional development program designed to provide graduates with 24 months of experience in one of our core positions of Corporate & Investment Banking or Corporate Real Estate. As an analyst graduate, the program will enable you to build leadership skills and general business acumen while gaining a rounded and comprehensive Wells Fargo experience.
Analysts will also follow an extensive training program in the United States. The training combines all analysts from different industries and includes classroom instruction in financial accounting, cash flow, credit analysis, products, structuring, business valuation and financial modeling. Wells Fargo professionals and consultants with special expertise in their fields equip analysts with the skills, knowledge and tools to make an immediate contribution to their team upon their return.
Our opportunities in global markets –
Our Global Markets team provides a comprehensive range of capital market products and solutions to Wells Fargo’s broader customer base, ranging from the distribution of sovereign debt and equity products to hedging interest rates, commodities and equity risks. You can be placed in one of the following companies:
Macro: Rates and Currency Sales Cross Asset Solutions Commodity Trading Asset Backed Sales and Trading Municipal Sales, Trading and Credit Strategy Equities: Cash Equities Equity Derivatives Equity Financing
Analysts can participate in the following key activities:
Identify broader market trends to support the sales and trading desk Prepare research and strategy presentations Assist in providing analytics for accounts on demand Assist the trading desk in managing risk
Program Duration: This is a 24 month program with a program start date in August/September 2023.
Program Locations: Primary locations are London and Paris.
In final year of study or graduate from university/institution within a financial discipline Have the relevant right to work in the UK or EEA
• Ability to assume a high level of responsibility, initiative and accountability
• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office product suite
• Demonstrable knowledge and/or experience in financial services
