Cleveland Police Investigate Possible Kidnapping

CLEVELAND — Police issued a warning on Sunday following a possible kidnapping on Cleveland’s east side.

Authorities received a call around noon that a man had grabbed a young girl between the ages of 13 and 17 and pushed her into his green Honda. The car then drove away from the East 125th Street and Arlington Avenue area in the Forest Hills neighborhood, and was last seen near Lakeview Cemetery.

Officials have no names or license plate numbers available, but witnesses claimed the child was a black woman wearing a black jacket, black leggings and pink UGG boots at the time of her disappearance. Officers are currently searching the area for information and possible video footage of the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to immediately call 911 or the Cleveland Division of Police at (216) 621-1234.
