Pakistan gave an exceptional performance with the ball in the Super 12 clash of the T20 World Cup, against Zimbabwe, as they limited the Craig Ervine-led side to 130/8 in 20.0 overs. Mohammad Wasim Jr took four wickets while Shadab Khan scalped three, while Haris Rauf took one. For Zimbabwe, Sean Williams scored the highest score with 31 runs, but one thing that captivated everyone was Pakistani skipper Babar Azam’s brilliant catch to sack Regis Chakabva.
In the 14th over, which was thrown by Shadab Khan, Chakabva was on strike. He made a defensive shot on the sixth throw from the over, which went to Babar Azam on the slip. Babar ducked to make a catch on his own to reject Chakabva for a duck. It was Shadab’s second in a row, as he also threw out Sean Williams on the fifth pitch of the same over.
