Aggressiveness earned Pol Espargaro points in Sepang; Now focus on his last race with Honda

Pol Espargaro said goodbye to Malaysia in 14th place and eventually confessed to having more problems on the track than in years past, also highlighting his recovery. With another Honda livery race, the focus is now on his home country race.

Watching his race at Sepang, the rider started looking at his performance and the biggest problems he encountered on the track: “It was a difficult one today, especially with the temperature. It was not as hot as previous years, but the humidity was still very high’.

Aggressive are crucial to recover positions: ‘We started at P20 and had to be aggressive in the early laps to make up some ground’.

And his thoughts are already on the next race: “Finally we got two points here, gained six places. Now the focus is shifting to Valencia where I have been strong in the past and I think it will suit our bike better.”
